A few days ago, a simple hack distressing was unveiled on the Internet to unlock any S3 or Note 2, even protected by a schema. Lookout allows you to secure your new smartphone.

Remember: it was there less than two weeks we talked about in these columns a software problem in the last two Galaxy date, S3 and Note 2. It was enough to make a rapid sequence of keys to unlock a smartphone easily password protected. It exploited the feature that allows you to select a contact to call in case something goes wrong, accessible without unlocking the device. Switch this function was entering the OS, which allowed to return to office by a fault is not corrected yet.

Short course, we doubt that Samsung is aware and a fix will arrive soon on the market. That said, if you want reassurance and prevent anyone access to your smartphone locked in some childish manipulations, Lookout has updated its application protection for Android smartphones correct this problem. This may convince some that security software can sometimes be useful in specific situations, even on an OS that is apparently not prey to viruses.

Note that we have tried writing manipulation on a GS Rating 2 and a first name and it did not work: only the latest generation of devices are affected. Hoping that the Galaxy S4 is not included with this bug at its output ...
